Potenza Picena is a marvellous village of medieval origin, even known with the ancient name of Monte Santo. The village, standed on a hill and surrounded by olive trees, is the place where art and landscape create a spectacular scenary that make the tourists’ stay an enjoyable experience.

The seaside part of the town, only 7 km far from here, gives tourists the opportunity to relax on its sandy beaches and thanks to the beauty of the sea, the quality of the services, the passion and hard-working of citizens, the town has been awared the prestigious Blue Flag since 2008.

The village is rich in unique suggestions everywhere you look, from historical monuments to churches, from important artworks to the rooms of ancient villas. The most famous is Villa Buonaccorsi, a splendid 18th century residence, surrounded by a marvellous garden park made up of different terracings and magnificent statues. The Garden has been one of the ten finalists in the national competition “The most beautiful park in Italy”.
